MICO-BOSCH launched its Bosch Car Service workshop at Hyderabad.
Mr. Ravi Krishnamurhty (General Manager, Automotive Aftermarket, MICO, Bosch Group) inaugurated the facility and appointed Fansa Motors as a Bosch Car Service outlet, on 25th November in a glittering function.
MICO-BOSCH business associates, representatives, a number of end customers and Mr. R. Balakrishnan (Business Manager, MICO-BOSCH, Secunderabad) attended the inauguration. Over 100 invitees including journalists from various publications and journals participated.
The invitees were given a demo of Bosch diagnostic equipment on new generation vehicles. A very attractive product display area had been set up. This area displays all MICO, Blaupunkt and Bosch products in an attractive manner.
The Bosch Car Service is equipped to service all makes of cars under one roof, located in the heart of the city, Managed by Mr. Afsar Ahmed (Proprietor, FANSA MOTORS), an Ex-NRI having more than 30 years experience in automotive aftermarket. The type and variety of services provided by the workshop is superior to the general workshops thus resulting in total customer satisfaction. The workshop is equipped with sophisticated diagnostic tools and computerized working systems. The workshop employees have undergone extensive training and have been exposed to the latest and frontline technologies.
Mr. Ravi Krishnamurhty (General Manager, Automotive Aftermarket, MICO-Bosch) said “The workshop conforms exactly to the specifications of Bosch in all respects. Every aspect has been planned and implemented meticulously to the highest standards. MICO-BOSCH recognizes that providing Bosch Car Service is a key for promotion of automotive aftermarket business”.
Almost every international car manufacturer has identified India as the market for the future. Vehicle manufacturers are switching over to electronically controlled petrol-injection and diesel-injection systems in view of stringent emission norms set for the automotive sector. Environment-friendly technologies and an integration of various systems with electronic controls are the buzzwords. Emission control and safety are the key concerns for every vehicle manufacturer. The Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Airbag Systems have become bywords for vehicle safety. This presents a very challenging situation for the car service business as technologies change very fast and the requirements of technical information and diagnostic capabilities become very critical.
